- The genuinely scarce profile is not model training — it is someone who can put an AI feature into production and prove it works.
- Academic depth and shipping ability rarely arrive in the same person at this level. Decide which one the role actually needs.
- Titles inflate fast here. We check what someone built, not what it was called.
